| Fly fishing Fly fishing is a ancient angling method. Made for salmonids which is trout and salmon, mostly and now extended to other fish and this includes pike, bass, and carp, as well as a range of water species and these are such as tarpon and bonefish in some countries as the Bahamas. The different tactics are used and specially made lines and brightly colored lures and bugs. Flies are constructed tied onto a hook with thread, fur, feathers and other things in sizes and colors to match naturally occurring food or simply to explode a fish. Fly rods are usually light and long while the lines are really heavy, providing the casting weight. The fly itself can weigh and is usually attached to the line by a 3 meter leader which is a may taper to a very fine line at the end. |

Fresh Water Fishing Like all fish, the time of year have a real big effect on how largemouth bass act and where they live. There are differences between bass behavior in colder water and warmer lakes. Water clearness has an effect on where the can stay and it can make a big difference. It is important to remember that bass do not like to move from where they are staying around (migrate) so as water rises or drops and season switch up all year round bass will move to the nearest good quality cover or structure under the conditions they prefer. It is critical that you remember that when bass hide in weeds. And they are more likely to be found near edges that face open water where little insects of schools pass by. Remember that bass are pretty unpredictable wild species so an angler should know about the a variety of equipment and techniques. |
Salt Water Fishing I have to tell you about the techniques to salt water fishing and mention that the described here will be used in oceans piers and in the surf. Not from boats. Most of the species caught from the pier are bay fish such as leopards, soup fins, seven gills and guitar fish. Some times you might come across a thresher shark. Thresher sharks are special fish because there pelagic. Sharks and some fish of the seas are bottom feeders. Which means they eat small fish and a variety of invertebrates. Crustaceans. They are timid sharks and aren't at all harmful. They are very slow swimmers. On the other hand they can swim faster and try to chasing after small fish. Thresher sharks have relatively small teeth and very sharp, but they use their really long tails to stun their pray (fish). If you catch a shark, it will often jump into the air so be very careful and take extra precaution. |
